Safe Sanctuary RSVP
FUMC is committed to offering both hospitality and protection for the children and youth in our congregation. As such, FUMC adopted our Child Protection/Safe Sanctuary Policies in 2005 mandated by the Florida United Methodist Conference. This policy is updated regularly as needed. Annual training is required for all adults working with children and youth to ensure that they are aware of all current issues regarding child protection. To RSVP for the upcoming training please fill out the form below.
In all you do, remember that as part of his public ministry, Jesus committed the then-radical act of welcoming children. Our commitment to reducing the risk of abuse in the church for children and youth is one way that we live out Jesus’ act of love.
